Northdale Manor is a charitable organization founded in 1956. The facility provides accommodation, care and services for seniors. A volunteer Board of Directors is responsible for the oversight and policy direction of the facility. Northdale Manor is within walking distance of downtown Temiskaming Shores, the boardwalk, the Pool Fitness Centre, coffee shops, churches, library and beautiful Lake Temiskaming.
Residents can relax by the fireplace in the Parlour, watch a favourite program on the large screen television, or listen to someone play the piano and sing along to old favourites. The competent and devoted staff, together with numerous volunteers, provides services, programs and activities in a relaxed, home-like atmosphere.
We provide care for the elderly in an atmosphere that recognizes the dignity and worth of each person through a wide range of quality services and programs. The facility is well recognized in the community for its role in caring for active seniors who are no longer able or willing to live alone in their home, but who do not yet require the level of care provided by long term care facilities.
