Who Are We?

Northdale Manor is a charitable organization founded in 1956. The facility provides accommodation, care and services for seniors. A volunteer Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing operations at the facility. Northdale Manor is located a short distance from downtown, recreational parks and the shores of beautiful Lake Temiskaming.

Residents can relax by the fireplace in the Parlour, watch a favourite program on the large screen television, or listen to someone play the piano and sing along with the old favourites. The competent and devoted staff, together with numerous volunteers, provide services, programs and activities in a relaxed, home-like atmosphere.

We provide care for the elderly in an atmosphere that recognizes the dignity and worth of each person through a wide range of quality services and programs. The facility is well recognized in the community for its role in caring for active seniors who are no longer able or willing to live alone in their home, but who do not yet require the level of care provided by long term care facilities.

Our Mission

Northdale Manor, a not-for-profit retirement home, provides supportive care tailored to the needs of seniors in a warm, welcoming atmosphere that offers peace of mind for residents and their families, in a manner that fosters independence, respects individuality and preserves the dignity of each resident in:

“A Home that fits Life…Perfectly”.

Our home, being a charitable organization, receives no financial support from any level of government. The facility is sustained through residents’ fees, fundraising events and donations.
